BMAT Music Innovators
Born in Barcelona in 2006, BMAT was founded by engineers who believed that music and data should play in harmony. They have spent the last 20 years innovating to empower the people and systems behind every song. Today, they are a global team of 270 music-loving experts, working to help the entire music copyright network identify, match, track and claim rights.
BMAT acts today as the Operating System for the Music Industry, processing €3 billion in royalties every year. They ingest, align and standardise music rights data so creators, publishers, labels, DSPs and societies all work from the same clean source of truth.
